Alex left yesterday for Hawaii! He had one of those once in a lifetime invitations, and we just had to make it work. After about 6 extra hours in Denver's DIA with delays, they skipped L.A. and took a direct flight to Maui. He sent me a text at 10:50 pm(our time... 6:50 there)"we are finally here!" A week of sunshine and no chores or nagging siblings. Why did I NOT stow away?

You should have done the extra checked baggage fee. Surely being cramped for a while would have been worth it. Have fun Alex!!
